    Report on Panchayat Exposure Visit
    On 16-12-2022, Social Science Association (SSA) in collaboration with Karnataka Province Apostolic Preferences 9KPAP) Committee had organised day long Panchayat Exposure Visit to Hennagara Grama Panchayat of Anekal Taluk. Student Council representatives, Social Science Association office bearers, members and students of 2Q - PEBA and 2R – HEPS were immensely benefitted by this visit.
    Highlights of the visit
    - Students got oriented about the process of Democratic Decentralisation under 73rd Constitutional Amendment - working of Panchayat Raj Institutions at the grass root level. Panchayat Chair Person, members shared their experiences in executing various policies and programmes and innovative measures taken to make Hennagara Panchayat as model Panchayat. Students raised questions related to functioning of Panchayat, budget allocation, education and health to the authorities, Panchayat members and officials responded and clarified all doubts.
    - Students carried out Socio - Economic Survey of the households in the Hennagara village to understand realities of rural India.
    - Interaction with staff and children of Government Primary School, students of SJPUC organised few games and distribution of stationary to the children. The following faculties have accompanied students to the exposure visit Ms. Renuka Zachariah, Mr. Melwin Tony, Ms. Fahmeeda, Ms. Sridevi, Ms. Divya, Mr. Kalai Malar Prabhu, Ms. Polly Keziah and Mr. Bhanuprakash and made it successful one.
