INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING

The Social Concern Committee of SJPUC aims at inculcating ethical values in our students, thus empowering our youth for others. The Social Concern Committee organized a program on 26 June 2021 to observe the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The theme for the year 2021 -SHARE DRUGS FACTS TO SAVE LIVES, was announced. The program was conducted online and live-streamed on our YouTube Channel. Dr. Syed Habeeb - an Ex Josephite, Leadership Coach, author, and motivational speaker, was the Chief Guest of the day's program. The essence of Dr. Syed's Speech hinged on Teenage Drug Addiction, its causes, and equipping youngsters to face such challenges. A Video Presentation that highlighted the adverse effects of drug abuse. The program also stressed learning parenting skills to help youngsters deal with the pressures of adolescence.
