INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING

Annually every 26th of June is marked to observe the international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking .But this year on the 24th of June, the social concern committee of SJPUC had organized a drive to create awareness, inculcate ethics and values in young minds and the public in general.
Starting with an assembly, prayer was dedicated to the individuals who have fallen prey to drug abuse and illicit trafficking. The social concern committee joined hands with the Wall Magazine team and SSA team designed alluring and enlightening posters that were displayed on the notice boards and used as placards. The social concern team in association with the NCC STUDENTS reached out to the general public in creating awareness through placard display around the college premises. Specific activities and a PPT was prepared by the Health Club in relation to anti-tobacco and Anti drug abuse were carried out by the in-charge SWO and CT during the HRD session.
