Basic Care and Life Support Certification
To give without counting the cost
The SJPUC Old Boys Association (OBA) decided to give back to their Almer Mater in a unique and profound manner like never before. They organized a *Basic Care and Life Support Certification* workshop to equip the faculty to deal with emergency situations that they may come across in and out of college.
They were given hands on practice in *facilitating CPR, how to use an AED, how to revive a person chocking, what to do in case of a snake bite and dealing with various other emergencies*. The trained and experienced faculty gave *LIVE* demonstrations with mannequins and explained in detail the protocols to be followed to save lives in emergency situations.
The institution and OBA are grateful to their donors:
*Mr. Ratan Kamat* - Batch of 2015
*Mr. Vishal Pereira* - creedcapasia.com and *Dr Srinath Bhat* - VP Medi Assist Healthcare Services Ltd - batch of 2004 without who's support this would not have been possible.
