The second PU orientation was held on 13 May 2023 on the theme PERCEIVE, PRACTICE AND PROGRESS. The inter religious prayer was made for the auspicious beginning of the academic year. Our new director Rev.Fr Joy Rodrigues SJ was formally welcomed and introduced to the gathering. He in his Presidential address reiterated the important values of Jesuit education. Our Principal Mr C R Rajendra in his address gave the Result analysis of 1 and 2 PUC and motivated the present batch of students to do well in their academic goals. Vice principal Ms Smitha Chacko reminded the students some important rules and regulations which are important building blocks to a great academic year. This was followed by the speeches of core committee members who rolled out the plan of action for the year ahead. The Governor gave an overview of the cultural activities that are to be held for the year. The 2 PUC board Examination toppers from Arts, Commerce and Science streams spoke to their juniors and gave them an insight on how to face the 2 PUC Exams and handed down tips of doing well in their studies. The college anthem ended the first session.
The second session was conducted by the respective class teachers and welfare officers giving an insight into the life of St Ignatius of Loyola, fundamental values of Jesuit education and mapping out the general rules and regulations of the college.
