The 8th Edition of the St Joseph Pre-University College Model United Nations conference took place with great enthusiasm on the 15th and 16th of September 2023. The conference featured five diverse and exciting committees, bringing together over 130 delegates from various schools and colleges across Bangalore to discuss global issues. The event started off with an impressive opening ceremony with a wonderful address from our respected Chief Guest, Dr Paul Newman. The lighting of the lamp and the Secretary General's Address marked the official commencement of our conference.
The executive board and the press sessions were vital tools in making this conference a successful one. The young delegates proposed well-thought-out solutions and engaged in diplomatic discussions throughout the conference. The delegates were commended for their dedication and commitment to diplomacy and peaceful resolution. The best delegates in their respective committees were awarded for their strong debate skills. Christ Junior College was awarded the best delegation of SJPUCMUN23. The conference ended with the Secretary General declaring the conference closed. SJPUCMUN 23 was a resounding success that offered an enriching and unique learning experience.
