  • International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking

    26 June is observed as International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking since 1989 by the United Nations. This year we marked the day with a walk and a street play. The day commenced with a meaningful prayer by the Social Science Association. A walk in the campus was flagged off by our Leadership Team. The participants included our students and the NCC cadets, holding placards with slogans against drug abuse and illicit drug trade. The members of the Dramatics Club performed a street play on the perils of substance abuse. Our NCC cadets also participated in a rally organized by the Police Department at Cubbon Park to spread the message of the impact of drugs on our lives. The event was organized by the Social Concern Team.
