Ignazio 500 commemorates the 500 Anniversary of the conversion of St. Ignatius of Loyola by the cannonball moment during the Battle of Pamplona. The celebration was held between 15 July to 31 July 2021. During this week of celebration, the staff organized various events for students to inculcate Ignatian spirit in them. Various competitions were held to celebrate the St. Ignatius feast and there was overwhelming participation from the students. Rev. Fr. Maxim Dias SJ was the guest speaker for Ignazio 500 and he spoke on the theme of Ignatian year by emphasizing the need to see all things new in God. The Director of SJPUC Rev. Fr. Roshan David Pereira SJ addressed the student community and articulated the need to imbibe the Ignatian values in one’s life.
